whenever and wherever he next comes across fei du, he pauses, vibes decidedly concerned as he looks him over to see how he appears to be doing. hi...]

[ fei du is hanging out in the library! he’s curled up in a seating area with a blanket from a fancy bed, with a green jacket over what look like cozy pajamas, playing absently with something small in his hands. he looks better, for the most part, though the ugly bruises on his throat are still there, if faded.

he smiles when approached, though it’s hollow. Emotionally here’s nothing. ]

I’m alright. [ voice hoarse. ] Come to check in?

Yeah. Seemed like a lot.

he doesn't feel surprised at the lack of emotions, though, responding with something more empathetic as he finds a spot to sit.]

I think so. Sort of like our Wednesdays are missions, too, even if they're silly in comparison.
