after all of that, fei du can be found in the ikea. he's sitting in a chair tucked away a bit, a green jacket slung around his shoulders, and most importantly, there's very soft music playing from his phone that's sitting on his lap.

his eyes are closed, but, at least it doesn't look like he's asleep or anything. hey there ]

[hey! what's up. netzach's in here looking for a place to chill, probably, flopping into a chair nearby. he's kind of like, draped sideways across it.

for a minute he just listens to the music.]

[ it's kind of weirdly zen, isn't it? the melody is beautiful, and the guy singing it has a gorgeous voice. for fei du's part, he just opens an eye, and when it seems like netzach is listening, he leaves it... though, when he speaks up, he turns it off. ]

[he half-shrugs, still just bonelessly draped here. this is going to kill his back later.]

I didn't wanna think it was that girl, either, but... I don't know. I didn't wanna let it all be on her, or think she actually did it.

...You don't have a justice system? Not that this is anything close to a standard justice system - but. What? Really?

No...? If you go against the Head, they'll just send someone after you themselves, and outside that...

Someone you know gets killed, you're gonna have to hire a Fixer willing to deal with it if you want retaliation, or take care of it yourself if you can. And if they died at night in the Backstreets, no one's going to care at all.

... Interesting. A fixer, huh? [ he shifts a little where he's sitting, tapping absently at the inside of his own arm with one finger tip. ]

... Some might argue that way's more efficient.

It depends. You still have to find one willing to take the commission on... if it's a busy Office, or if you don't have the money, you're out of luck. A lot of people probably wouldn't be able to afford hiring a higher grade Fixer, either, so if they were killed by someone from an organization they aren't willing to go up against, that'll be the end of it too.
